I threw in the towel at 3am. For the first time in thirty years, I'm probably not going to get an A in a college class, but I reached the point last night when I just didn't care! My eyes were tired and my back hurt. A few hours of sleep seemed much more important.
I'm just past the halfway mark, though, and have a good idea where I'm going. After Kendall's high school band concert tonight, I'll jump back in and I THINK I'll be able to finish it with another big push...hopefully before 3am...
And totally changing subjects...this afternoon when I was waiting for Kendall to get out of school, I realized I never took yesterday's mail out of my work bag. I pulled out this month's Reader's Digest - the headline is "13 things no one ever tells you about weight loss." I've been asked so many times what I did to lose weight, and it's hard to answer because it went away so gradually - I kept making small changes, all with the goal of being healthy in mind. Well, this article answers it for me, so if you were asking...go read it.
Off to a winter band concert...wish me writing luck tonight!!
