Daniel, Kendall, and I have to decide what to do, which means we have to agree.
We're at my parents' house in Pasadena right now - we came in yesterday for our Pasadena Christmas, a quick trip because Daniel and I have to work tomorrow, and Mama had to get another injection this morning to help relieve the pain from two crushed discs, so she and Daddy have already gone and now I'm waiting for the kids to get cleaned up so we can leave.
Kendall had asked if we could stop at the Houston Galleria during one of our trips, so I thought this would be a good day for that. But then I had to make it more complicated...I heard that the Museum of Natural Science (one of our favorite spots in Houston - we spent LOTS of time there) had a special exhibit - the Birth of Christianity - a Jewish Story, which includes one of the original Dead Sea Scrolls (the book of Isaiah) and an early copy of the book of Luke...the Christmas story. While we were looking at that online, I mentioned to Daniel that they have another exhibit that creeps my mother out - Body World 2 - it's supposed to be educational about the body, but is pretty much a bunch of real bodies and body parts (even the name sounds like a cheap horror movie to me!) Now he wants to see that - and I have to admit, after reading the description, it does sound interesting and educational. But then we saw the ticket price - $21! And that's the college student discount that we could all get with our ID's!
So...looks like maybe we'll just be stopping by the Galleria, after all.
