Scenes from this weekend...
Friday night friends Bob, Lisa, their son Justin and his girlfriend Patty came over for smoked pork loin, chicken, and sausage, trips back through time via old wedding photos (ours - Bob and Lisa were both in the wedding), and turns playing my drums. I have a feeling Craig's List will be scoured for drum sets this week.
Saturday...Saturday? It just drifted by...playing catch-up on Lost, exercise, and screenplays. I watched the beginning of "Cold Mountain" and then read the screenplay. Managed to add a page or two to mine - I've already tweaked the beginning again...if I ever get past the beginning, I might actually write a whole screenplay!
Sunday...right after church I zoomed to La Margarita, met Darla, Donna BV and Donna CH to celebrate Donna CH's birthday - it's not really until Wednesday, but she's sneaking off this week to Las Vegas for a "quiet" celebration with her daughter and sister. We ended up staying there talking for FIVE HOURS! I still had to go shopping after that - I was totally wiped out by the time I got home, and even though I accomplished nothing else that day, it was worth it.
