I borrowed a couple of my mom's photo albums recently, intending to scan all of the photos into my computer. I've mostly just shuffled that good intention from one to-do list to another, but today I took my first "baby" steps in that direction while posting these "milestone" birthdays of mine...the youngest photos are from her albums. In so many ways, these memories seem like yesterday. In others, they seem like another lifetime (I mean...take a look at all the different hairstyles and colors!)
Two, surrounded by family. Okay, it's not a milestone, but they still thought I was cute...
Ten...my first slumber party (I'm on the left covering my face at the table, and in the blue lying on the couch.)
Eighteen, with Chris...
Twenty-one, with Chris. Still.
Thirty, with Leslie, Denise, Kim, and Darla...I threw myself a party!
Forty with my babies and Tom...Marco's Mexican food - yum!
Fifty, with Tom and Kendall - Truluck's Seafood (even more yum!) after a day driving in the country. Life is good (despite the glare on my face.) I'm ready for the next 50 years...
