It was traumatic enough finding out that just trying on clothes can be hazardous to my health because of all of the hidden bacteria, fecal matter and ugh, I don't want to think about what else "Good Morning America"'s special investigators discovered on new clothes in top notch stores.
But now The Today Show has just ruined "pretty undies" shopping for me, too. Not to be outdone by GMA, they sent their own undercover YI's (Yuck Investigators) into the lingerie departments of some popular stores recently and just listen to what they discovered...USED UNDERWEAR passed off as NEW! Hidden cameras captured images of sales clerks immediately re-tagging returned intimates and plopping them right back out on the display racks and tables. Unless they have an odor...then they hang them up for a day or so to 'air' out.
Yuck.
We're talking Victoria's Secret, people! Also Macy's, Nordstrom, The Gap...
Ew.
Those candy-colored lacy delicacies will never tempt me the same way, ever again.
As one girl interviewed on the report said "You don't want grossness near there, but especially not foreign grossness."
