"If we are ever in doubt about what to do, it is a good rule to ask ourselves what we shall wish on the morrow that we had done."
~John Lubbock
Balancing the "need-to"s and the "want-to"s... it's a continual challenge. I believe both are important, but I still catch myself feeling guilty for the "want-to"s.
This quote put it back in perspective for me; this morning I played my drums and tonight I went to the Hootenanny, just because I wanted to. Just because I knew tomorrow I'd wish that I had.
Each morning I take the time to walk my puppies because I know if I don't, I'll regret it. My favorite photos this week are two of Belle and Max that I think capture their sweet goofiness and the love they have for each other.
I'm so glad we gave in and got Max a puppy. I know he and Belle are happy about it, too.
