This has been a fast week, one of those that keeps gaining on you even when you quicken your pace. So part of me says "Hallelejuh!" and the other part says, "Dang it!" because I had so many things I hoped to accomplish before today. But Friday was too fast for me.
The weekend has its own agenda. Actually, there are two possible agendas and I still haven't figured out which one will win. I hate that, not knowing what I'll be doing tomorrow.
But tomorrow is tomorrow and it will take care of itself. I have today in my hand and I don't want to waste it, worrying what will come next.
My favorites this week are random, much like the thoughts flitting through my head this morning.
First, splashes of yellow along our road. Yellow means summer, right? I know all the talk is about Autumn, but I'm still sleeveless and flip-flopping here. It doesn't feel much like fall. Besides, summer isn't over until I have my weekend with the girls on the coast, still ahead of me on the calendar.
These next two... well, I'm headed out the door for my morning walk along our road with the puppies, snapping more photos and talking to God about the things on my mind... they were easy picks! Hope you have a wonderful Friday!
