A splash of orange.
Blue, gradually deepening.
The corrugated silhouette of surrounding hills.
Lights twinkling from houses, from Austin in the distance,
and from cars criss-crossing the hill opposite me.
The weekend is slipping away with the sun,
along with another unfinished to-do list.
But the 'done' list includes walks through the woods in spring-like weather
dancing with my darling
dinner with friends
hugs from my kids
I'll focus on 'done' - there's always tomorrow for 'to-do's.
