I've been unplugged most of today, spending time with my weary travelers, enjoying Daniel's photos from Big Bend and soaking up the sunshine. (I'll post a few of his photos later - he got some great ones!)
Now Tom's not-so-patiently waiting for me to watch a movie, so I promised this would be a quick post. But I have to share my favorite photo from this past week, a blue door that leads into a beautiful chapel in Salado, Texas.

And guess what? This image of old books that I posted last week made Explore on FlickR. That really caught me by surprise - I snapped these in a hurry at Daniel's apartment, and then just had some fun playing with different treatments.
I believe its popularity had more to do with the books than the photo, proving books are still beloved. And that makes me very happy.
(But having it hit Explore made me happy, too!)
